In most Barcelona cooking classes, you watch a chef prepare a dish. Not this one. Sharing a burner with one other person, you'll learn how to make paella in the most hands-on way; following the actions of your chef as you turn fresh, local ingredients into a quintessential Spanish delicacy.

Your chef is fully bilingual (no interpreters, like other paella-making classes) and has worked in kitchens both in Barcelona and around Europe, including the multi Michelin-starred Noma in Denmark. He won't only show you how an authentic Paella is made, he'll teach you the skills and secrets necessary to recreate the dish at home.

When you have finished cooking, you’ll sit down with your fellow cooks to feast on your creations with a choice of local wine (red or white), beer, or soft drinks. Eat as the Spanish do and linger over your meal, then finish up with something sweet. If you want to continue the party, your hosts will be happy to recommend other nightlife spots in Barcelona.

Alex & Alex were fantastic! The venue is really cool. We were met with cava wine when we entered, and there was hardly a moment that our glasses were empty throughout the night. We learned about wines, paella, and other things. Cooking the paella was really easy with their guidance. Alex had prepared other entrees and desserts for us as well (gazpacho, salted chocolate mousse were some favorites!). There was plenty of food to go around. They even gave us the recipes for everything we had, along with some extra recipes I am excited to try! I would absolutely go back. Highly recommend!!
