Sample some Spanish cuisine

Our Barcelona Food Tour begins in the late afternoon when you meet your local foodie guide and a small group of no more than 15 people in the neighborhood of Sant Antoni, directly outside one of the city's most famous markets.

Our first stop is an olive oil boutique to taste five different olive oils, then a deli to taste local cheeses and cured meats like chorizo and Iberian ham before learning how to drink from a traditional jug called a porró (hint: there's a knack to it). After a quick stop for an ice-cold horchata (and a little background on this beloved local drink), we'll stroll into the lively neighborhood of Poble Sec and make our way to a Basque pintxos bar which serves a special sort of tapas along with a regional sparkling wine.

Then we'll head to the top of Montjuic for panoramic views over the city before taking a cable car ride to Barceloneta. From here, we’ll enjoy a stroll on the beach before sitting down to a meal of paella where we will reflect on the events of the day over good food and great company. If you want to taste incredible Spanish cuisine and see some of the most interesting and beautiful parts of the city, this is the perfect afternoon experience for you.

Laura did a great job taking us around and introducing us to new foods. She had excellent knowledge about Barcelona and it’s history. We really enjoyed this tour.
