Making your way to the Piazza della Signoria (Florence's jaw-dropping outdoor sculpture gallery), your guide will point out Sant’Ambrogio Market. We recommend returning later for some of Florence's most authentic and best-priced food. From the Piazza della Signoria you'll stroll over the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge into the quiet neighborhood of the Oltrarno, filled with small artisan shops and local restaurants. After getting recommendations for places to eat and shop, you'll pass the imposing Pitti Palace (which you should definitely try to visit) and end up in the Piazza Santo Spirito. This beautiful square should be buzzing with restaurants and pizzerias at this hour: just in time for dinner.
During your Florence Walking Tour you'll also stop at one of the city's best gelaterias for a cone - remember, gelato was invented in Florence so the best gelato in Florence is arguably the best gelato in Italy. Your guide will also tell you how to tell the difference between good and bad gelato so you can make sure you're only eating the best throughout the rest of your stay.
Silver tours have small groups & skip the line access, guaranteed.
