Reviews: 9/11 Memorial Tour with Priority Entrance Observatory Tickets

This tour was fantastic and I found it to be one of the more important tours I've taken recently. The guide was extremely knowledgable having lived through 9/11 personally. Her authenticity in telling her story was very moving. She was very thorough in telling us about the symbolism of each place in and around the memorial- the thought that was put into the reconstruction. It was really good and the view from the top of One World Observatory is out of this world!

Easy to find meeting point with Walks staff ready to greet us. Great start. Rob was our guide and he is wonderful. His knowledge of and passion for this area of the city shine throughout the tour. The padlock and chain on the entrance to St. Paul's Chapel was a surprise to everyone. Clearly a disappointment that the administration at St. Paul's appears so unfriendly. The Oculus (architecturally interesting) and the National September 11 Memorial Reflection Pools (essential) are highlights of the tour. At the end of Rob's portion of the tour (again, excellent) we were released for the final activity. We did not find the access to the One World Observatory all that interesting. Express access was great, but the experience is so commercialized that this site felt like a poorly executed theme-park event. This portion I would not do again and would only recommend depending on the individual's specific tour goal. Thanks Walks! Kris and Al Jergens

Our guide, Alice, was absolutely outstanding! She was friendly and knowledgeable. Most of all she was able to convey the emotions of that fateful day. We highly recommend Alice.
