The infamous Alcatraz is a notoriously difficult attraction to bag tickets for, often requiring visitors to book months in advance. To take away the stress and uncertainty, we’ve booked them for you and paired them with another of San Francisco’s most iconic areas: Chinatown. Receive tips and tricks for navigating Alcatraz Island, and then enjoy a fully guided tour through the vibrant Chinatown - including a special visit to a fortune cookie factory where you won't leave empty handed!

Back on the mainland, your day continues with a locally guided tour of Chinatown, which has been designed to immerse you in the neighborhood's unique history and culture - and to give you a few reasons to come back later!
Starting near the Dragon Gate, we’ll explore the vestiges of the old neighborhood, when it was a seedy red-light district full of brothels and opium dens. You'll stop at landmarks such as St. Mary’s Square, the Old Chinese Telephone Exchange, and Waverly Place.
Our Chinatown Tour takes in a traditional apothecary, tempts your taste buds at some of the city’s best bakeries, and - a real highlight of the tour - journeys inside the legendary Golden Gate Factory where you'll learn all about the art (and logistics!) of fortune cookie making. Not only will you discover a thing or two about the iconic after-dinner treat, you’ll also receive a special custom-made cookie as a little gift from us!
Your tour comes to an end in Chinatown but don’t worry - before you go we’ll discuss the eight great cuisines of China, let you know where best to try them, and share some of our favorite places for dim sum.
